The Personal MD Medical Care business program is designed to help small and mid-sized companies provide their employees access to quality and affordable health care. Employers or individual members pay a monthly per-person fee of $80 or less, depending on the number of employees enrolled. As a member, there is no co-pay fee for office visits with a physician. It’s that simple.
For companies who enroll their employees in the program, it’s equivalent to having a company doctor who can provide the majority of an employee’s health care needs and serve as a primary resource to other medical specialties and services. Employees are guaranteed same day or next day appointments, round-the-clock direct access to the doctor via phone and e-mail access, and 30 minute consultations rather than usual hurried office visit.
For companies who enroll over 100 employees, Personal MD will include a part-time, on-site medical office. The on-site office is staffed by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant and provides full service primary care, referrals to specialists when necessary, and an integrated wellness program.
